Dedicated to everyone who loves and writes Javascript!

On June 8-9th, we’re gathering the international Javascript community in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This is our chance to meet fantastic developers, world-class speakers and JS-loving people, and find out more about their latest projects: what they are working on and how, in a two-days, one-track conference.

  • 🍻 Starting 10:30pm we have booked a spot for all of us at Euphoria Music Hall. We have free entrance based on our name badges. You can also invite your partners, friends or colleagues -> ask for free entrance cards at the Community corner, during the coffee breaks ;)

Language: All talks are in English.

This year we have no live streaming of the talks. But we’ll post all talks on our YouTube channel, after the conference.

Community Area

2017 is the first year when JSHeroes is taking place. And since the whole conference is designed and built by the community, and for the community, we simply had to have a community area.

You’ll be able to visit the technical corners, check out the conference merchandise corner, take some giveaways from the sponsors’ spot, charge your phones, make selfies in the instaframe, relax on beanbags or grab a coffee.

The Technical Corners will be centered around React, Angular and Node.js. You can find people who love and work on these technologies and talk about your projects and you can hang out with Mark, Xavier, Pavithra and Vladimir in the React corner, Filip and Maxim in the Angular corner, plus Liran in the Node corner.

In the Community Corner you can talk to Alex and Tudor from Cluj Javascripters about any javascript or community questions you might have. They are looking forward to meeting you and share some of our stories :) We’ll also have a photo wall to show you a glimpse of the #communityspirit.

It’s also the place to meet other JS communities from around the world, since we’ve got speakers and participants from the JS communities in Oradea, Timisoara, Bucharest., Oslo, Melourne, New York, Budapest, Tel Aviv, San Francisco, Zurich, Billund, Paris, Bangalore.

The Merchandise Corner: we’ll have a few #oldschool #romanian cups that you’ll love, plus the conference t-shirts are definitely not to miss! These are up for sale at their production cost ;)

The Giveaways Corner. Our sponsors have sent us some goodies and it’s all up for grabs at the giveaways corner. This is our alternative to the conference bags. So just come by, take a look and take what you like!

Cluj has few public transport options. The buses are operated by CTP. This is the schedule of line 21 that takes you from the city center, to the conference venue area.

Taxis in Cluj are affordable and everywhere. You can usually hail one in the street, or use apps like CleverTaxi to order one. Also, for travelling inside Cluj-Napoca, we definitely recommend Pony car sharing.

Biking is difficult since Cluj has few bicycle lanes and the conference location is up on one of the hills surrounding the city.

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at JSHeroes are required to agree with our Code of Conduct. As organisers, Cluj Javascripters will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all of you to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Stay Tuned

We post all updates around JSHeroes on Twitter. Use the hashtag #jsheroes to connect with other attendees, tweet about the conference and share your photos and experience during the event!

You can also find us on facebook.

All schedule updates will be shared through our Onyx Beacons notifications system.

Any questions we didn’t address? Reach out to us: welcome@jsheroes.io. We're here to help you out.
